ABOUT ME

Some of you may know me as the woman who stands at the back of the venue looking both stressed and elated at the same time. Others may know me from Mother Brain, my beloved booking and promotions company.

 

I love bands. I love noisy little records. I love the feeling of falling in love with a song and immediately forcing everyone I know to listen to it. So here we are! A blog! A lovely digital notepad for my brain - like a musical fridge magnet collection but without the actual magnets or the fridge. Expect recommendations, ramblings. I’ll be posting thoughts on new releases, underrated bangers, bands I think are the dog's elbows!

Think of this blog like a zine, but made on the internet, and without the glue-stick injuries. It’s music chat with the kettle on, where no one judges you for having tinnitus from a rehearsal tape or crying at a demo that sounds like it was recorded inside a tin shed with a microphone from Fisher Price.
